My Story
I first heard about SECA from my best friend, Abby, who encouraged me to apply. She knew I’d love the work and the clients, and she was right. The most rewarding part for me is building real connections and celebrating every milestone with my clients. Working with children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities has shaped me both personally and professionally. It has taught me to slow down, appreciate the little victories, and approach challenges with creativity and compassion. I graduated from high school in 2023 and am now pursuing a degree in forensic psychology, with the goal of combining my education and SECA experience to continue helping others. In my free time, I love paddleboarding, being in the mountains, and spending time with my dogs, friends, and family.

Brook Howland
My name is Brook Howland, and I’ve been with SECA for just over a year. Before this, I worked as a waitress, which taught me patience, communication, and how to connect with all kinds of people.
